Wesabe Reels In $900K Angel Investment

BERKELEY, CA -- Wesabe announced via press release the closing of an angel round of $900,000 in new investment.

Investors were the recently launched $51 million O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures fund, Mark Fletcher, founder of ONElist and Freeman Murray, founder of Kendara.  The company plans to use the proceeds for product development.

Wesabe provides a web-based tool that allows users to better understand how they spend money, links them to a community of other people who want to save money and aggregates their spending information to provide tips on how to save money based on their actual purchases.
